Sarah Marley
Ballet Instructor
Born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Ms. Marley honed her skills in the Cecchetti Method under Sonja Dickerson-Faust and Heidi Wright. Further training with Peter Stark at the Orlando Ballet School led to her acceptance into the trainee program at just fourteen, where she performed alongside professionals. Invited by Fernando Bujones in 2004, Ms. Marley danced with the company for six seasons. Simultaneously, she joined the Orlando Ballet School faculty and expanded her repertoire with Royal Caribbean Cruises Int, San Diego Ballet, Company C Contemporary Ballet, San Diego Opera, Chicago Repertory Ballet, and Smuin Ballet. Since 2019, she's been a faculty member with Grand Rapids Ballet and various dance schools in the Grand Rapids community. Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Marley has excelled in soloist and principal roles in classical and contemporary works, collaborating with renowned choreographers such as Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, and many others.
