Sam Epstein
Ballet Instructor
Sam Epstein grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he began his dance training at the National Museum of Dance School of the Arts. He pursued his studies as a Wells Scholar at Indiana University, earning a B.S. in Ballet, with an Outside Field in Choreography, and a Minor in Music Composition. In 2021, Sam joined Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company, and in 2023, he became a member of Grand Rapids Ballet. Sam has choreographed full-length works for both ballet and opera, including the world premiere of Anne Frank at Indiana University in 2023. He has also assisted in staging children’s casts for productions such as Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, King Arthur’s Camelot, and The Nutcracker, as well as Pamela Robinson Harris’s Snow White, all with Cincinnati Ballet. Sam has taught ballet and adaptive dance to individuals of various ages and abilities. He is thrilled to be joining the faculty of CARE Ballet.
